Our lighting filters are tried and tested by the performance and photography industry for many years.
Filters are coated on both sides of a high grade polymeric base using accurate and consistent colourants for optimum performance and life. Quality control is ensured by realtime monitoring and comparison of colours ensuring the match control samples to obtain near perfect results. The process is similar to that used by Lee Filters. Other filters are single side coated or 'deep dyed', a process which adds colour to polyester pellets prior to extrusion, which cannot be corrected after the process starts.
In tests, our colour filters show amazing resistance to heat and last as long as the equivalent well known filters. And in the experience of stagelamps.co.uk staff we have used these filters regularly on our own projects without issue.
